This is an excellent “all-around” canoe, fast in the flats and great in the surf! Well balanced (not tippy), and very responsive to jump into the bumps. Initially thought to be for the smaller paddler, many 200 lb. +/6 foot + guys are also enjoying the performance and comfort this beautiful canoe exhibits. As with many “high-performance” pieces of equipment, there is an adjustment people find they need to make in the way they paddle this ocean rocket. Once they complete this short learning curve, they never look back. The hull weighs in at 20 lbs. Lightest boats will be in crystal white also easiest to repair when dings/scratches occur. -Length: 20' 5"

The Hurricane is the result of 2 years of research and development. A series of computer designed and machined prototypes were made. Their goal was to design a versatile hull that performs well in a variety of conditions. By defining the hull shape parametrically, each successive prototype could be refined quickly and precisely.
The results justify the effort. The Hurricane is smooth in the flat water and responsive in the bumps.
The Hurricane is constructed using the best materials and processes available. Carbon fiber is used extensively throughout the canoe. They use specially formulated oven core epoxies, polyurethane paints, and prepegs to make the lightest canoe on the market.
